Terms of service

1. The service

Apego lets businesses run a points-based loyalty program: register sales, give and redeem points, manage rewards and locations, and send automatic emails to their customers. Customers access a web card with their points and rewards.

The paid service is aimed at businesses and professionals. Customers of each business use their card for free.

2. Accounts

You sign in with Google or with a link or code sent by email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for the actions taken from your account, including those of the team members you invite.

3. Trial, plans and payments

New businesses get a free trial with no card required. After the trial, using the service requires a paid plan. Prices and limits are shown on our website and in the dashboard.

Prices do not include taxes. VAT or other applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on your country and shown on your invoice.

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, which also issues the invoices. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.

30-day money-back guarantee: if you're not satisfied, write to us within 30 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full.

Upgrades are charged immediately in proportion to the remaining period. If a plan ends or a limit is reached, the account becomes read-only: you can view and export your data, but you can't register new activity.

4. Your responsibilities as a business

You decide how your program works (points, rewards, gifts) and you are responsible for honouring the rewards your customers earn.

You are the controller of your customers' personal data and must have a valid legal basis to process it. Apego acts as your processor under the data processing terms included in our Privacy policy, which form part of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Apego for unlawful purposes, to send unsolicited messages, to impersonate others or to interfere with the service.

6. Your data

Your data belongs to you. You can export your customers and history at any time. If you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and secure, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid in the last 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll let you know in advance by email or in the dashboard.

9. Contact and governing law

For any question write to hola@apegoapp.com. These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Santiago de Compostela (Spain), without prejudice to the mandatory rights that may apply to you.
